the “successful” Distributor follows up professionally, persistently with an on-purpose message. and this follow up always includes NEW information about an upcoming event or phone call … a positive new development in your business … or some other “call to action” that will cause the prospect to respond. 

Example of “obligatory” follow-up (voice mail or email): Hi Bill. This is OPB. I saw you responded to my ad. Just following up to see if you are interested. Here’s my phone number … give me a call when you get a chance. 

Example of “successful” follow-up (voice mail or email): Hi Bill. This is D. I am so glad you responded to my ad … your timing is PERFECT! We have 3 weeks until our official launch and I’m looking to work closely with just a handful of people … that’s why I ran the ad. Give me a call and I can answer any questions for you and get you enrolled in literally 4 minutes. I’ve got some things that are really working for me.

if you don’t hear back, call (or email) again with some new information. “My group enrolled “48″ people since my last voice mail (email) to you …” or “We have one of our top leaders who is explaining the business tonight at 9 PM” or “I just enrolled a new person who got her business in profit in 2 days …” 

always include 
- the reason you called (or emailed) 
- the timing of something new/important 
- what you want them to do
